Your host, Amedeo Ebrahimpour, has lived in Little Italy with his wife, Mary, since 1982.

They met while studying abroad in Italy and both speak fluent Italian. After many years in the food business, Amedeo bought the bar on the corner, known as Pepino's, and renovated it during the spring of 2010. The result is a cozy, beautiful room, with exposed brick and original tin ceiling. Amedeo has added food to the extensive selection of Italian wines, offering grilled panini, several salads, appetizers and desserts.
